We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. Your name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you register. We never store your password in plain text.
• Shop and business data. Information you enter to run your shop, such as your shop name, products, prices, stock levels, sales, expenses, and subscription details.
• Customer and supplier records. Details you choose to record about the people and businesses you trade with, such as names, phone numbers, and outstanding balances.
• Images. Any product or promotional images you upload.
• Technical data. Basic device and usage information (such as app version, log data, and error reports) needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We use your information only to provide and improve the Service, including to:

• Create and secure your account and keep your shop's workspace private.
• Record sales, inventory, customers, suppliers, expenses, and reports on your behalf.
• Manage your subscription and respond to your support requests.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

When you add customers or suppliers, you are responsible for the information you enter about them and for having a lawful reason to record it. You act as the controller of that information; Dukalink only stores and processes it so you can run your shop. You must handle it responsibly and honour any request a person makes to you directly about their own data.

We do not sell your personal or business data. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run the Service, and only to the extent needed to do so:

• Hosting and database. Our application and database are hosted on Vercel and Neon, which store your data on secure cloud infrastructure.
• File storage. Images you upload are stored using Vercel Blob storage.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we will remove it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, session-based authentication, and strict per-shop data isolation so one shop can never access another shop's data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continually to protect your information.

You can, at any time:

• Access and update your account and shop information from within the app.
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
• Withdraw consent or close your account.

The Service is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Your data may be stored and processed on servers located outside your country. Wherever your data is processed, we apply the protections described in this policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
